First birthdays are a once-in-a-lifetime milestone, and there’s no better way to celebrate than with a cake smash session! Last year, I had the joy of creating a simple yet beautiful setup for a little one’s big day, featuring a pretty gypsophila cake surround that I made on the morning of the shoot.

One thing I adore about outdoor photoshoots is how relaxed they feel. Taking a walk through the fields, the smell of the grass, sitting under a tree, a gentle fresh breeze and the warmth of the sun on skin.
