What a busy couple of months it has been for little newborn photography business! I have had so many lovely families come through my doors with their beautiful babies that I get to snuggle and could not be more thankful for those of you that choose me as your photographer 😀 I LOVE my job! I know not many people can actually say that. We have all had jobs that have been convenient and have been something we have had to do rather than want to do. I am so lucky to be in the position where I have a job that fits in with me and my two children and something I love. But it can only keep going for as long as you guys choose me and appreciate me as your photographer, so THANK YOU!
I am supposed to blog at least once a week but I am massively behind! We took the kids to France for a week and now it is summer holidays so going to be playing catch up this week. This weeks blog is a session share. Sometimes I share images from one session to show the variety I give during one session. Even still I only share about 50% of the images so what you get it actually so much more.
Now Ottilie’s session is a favourite of mine. The colour palette was fantastic! Yellows, Lilacs, pinks, it was just right up my street with colours! I feel this session is a great example of how to use colours, that you don’t have to stick to creams and beiges. Although I do love creams and neutrals on a newborn session as it is pure and clean, it is also good to add a bit of colour where we can. If you have neutral walls, you can pretty much choose any colour for your session and they will fit. If you have coloured walls, it is a good idea to think about where your pictures will hang and think about which colours during your session would complement your decor at home. I have everything set up before you arrive so it is important you really have a think about the colours and inform me before your session starts. I am also happy to decide colours if you can not decide yourselves 🙂
