Back with New Eyes
After stepping away to bring my third baby into the world, I am slowly and gratefully returning to my work as a family photographer based in Hertfordshire. I have been so lucky to have spent the last 9 months adjusting to having three beautiful children. I must admit, the sleepless nights are hard going when you have two other children to support also! However I am incredibly lucky to have an amazing partner who has supported me throughout the whole journey of having Fearne.
A quieter, more intentional return
Whilst I get used to the flow of working again I will be limiting the amount of sessions I offer each month. For the first 3 months I will only be offering mini sessions.
Photographing families has always been about connection and capturing those special moments throughout your journey as a parent. Whilst on maternity leave I have had a lot of time to think about where these images live once they’re shared on social media, and how long they remain there.
As I step back into work, I’m being more mindful about how I share images online. choosing to centre feeling, detail, and connection, while holding privacy with greater care. I will slowly remove recognisable faces of children from my social media platforms. This approach feels aligned with both motherhood and the values that have always underpinned my work.
Mini sessions now open
As part of my return, I’m opening a small number of mini sessions over the coming weeks. These sessions are perfect for families wanting a relaxed way to document this season. Whether that’s welcoming a new baby, marking a birthday, or simply capturing everyday life together. I am now offering at home mini lifestyle sessions. This can be for any season, maternity, newborn, toddler, older children and even time with Grandparents. Space is limited and until June they will only be available for families in Stevenage. All sessions will now include a handful of portraits where faces of children or babies can not be seen so you can post on social media whilst still maintaining your children’s privacy.
