I am very excited to show off my new nature inspired logo <3 I feel this logo represents me so much better than my previous logo. As you can probably tell from my images I have a massive love of nature and all it has to offer. I try to incorporate nature into my family and newborn sessions. Not only is it beautiful to look at, I find being in nature a great healing tool. In this day and age we are so busy with work, emails, phonecalls, school runs, playdates, doctors appointments, school plays, social media, etc etc etc. When I am feeling overwhelmed with it all, nothing relieves the stress more than turning my phone off and going for a walk through the woods with my kids. Building dens, smelling the new fresh daffodils and cherry blossom trees, climbing trees to see if you can get higher than the previous time, watching squirrels leap across the branches and just taking a deep breath of fresh air. It grounds me and relieves me from any stress.I also thought I would share my 3 favourite images from yesterdays newborn session with little baby Beau. Beau had a very hard start to life. With a complication causing respiratory problems leading to him needing ventilation, to then battle sepsis. He spent the first couple of weeks of his life in hospital. Now home and doing well he came for a session at 5 weeks and 4 days. It is not an ideal time for newborn photography and this was proven when he was awake and fidgety the majority of the session lol. He did however had the odd moment where he settled enough for a few portraits to be taken. I’m so glad he did as I am in love with these portraits of his cheeky little face <3
